About Diamond 5R Ranch CKC Miniature Dachshunds
Our Story
We are Diamond 5R Ranch AKC & CKC Miniature Dachshunds. We are a family-owned and operated breeder located on a farm in north-central Louisiana. Our passion for Miniature Dachshunds started when we got our first longhaired miniature dachshund many years ago, and we fell in love with their loyal, playful, smart, funny and friendly nature. Since then, we became focused years on learning all about their genetics and health, and now are proud to be dedicated to breeding top quality, healthy, beautiful, and happy miniature dachshunds for families to enjoy.
Our Breeding Process
We take great pride in our breeding process, which starts with carefully selecting our breeding pairs. We only breed miniature dachshunds that meet our high standards for quality, health, temperament, and conformation. Our miniature dachshunds are all raised in home, in a loving and nurturing environment, receive regular veterinary care, and have frequent socialization with humans young to old and animals big to small.
Our Facilities
We have a state-of-the-art facility that is designed to provide our miniature dachshunds with the best possible care. All puppies are raised in our home that has an extra-large room designated specifically for whelping and puppy play/socialization areas. Our in-home whelping and play areas are designed to provide our dams with comfortable whelping areas with extra close monitoring and the play areas provide plenty of exercise and socialization opportunities.
